Piano

Kevin started playing piano on a whim at the age of 8 and soon discovered it was one of his favorite things. He studied classical music for many years before moving to contemporary genres and adding singing and songwriting to his repertoire. Kevin recently finished a bachelor’s degree in music at the University of Colorado Denver with a singer/songwriter emphasis, where he discovered a predilection for writing social commentary songs and an attraction to unusual harmony. Above all, it is Kevin’s philosophy that music should be enjoyable. His students receive firm grounding in music theory and are encouraged to explore their musical interests in depth.
